How Eddy Hosts Spirit Week
How Eddy Hosts Spirit Week

Getting employees involved

Once you know the dates of your spirit week get it up on that company calendar so employees can start thinking about it. A week before, send out a company message recapping what each day will be. When spirit week arrives, send out another message each day to remind employees what they can expect the following day.Spirit week is about more than just dressing up. We love games, competitions, and prizes. Take your spirit week up a notch and include games or prizes that correlate with that given day. Prizes don’t need to be huge and games don’t need to be extravagant. Employees get stoked on simple things, especially if your company values bragging rights like we do. "Employees get stoked on simple things, especially if your company values bragging rights like we do." Remember to document everything you are doing and take lots of pictures. These pictures are fun to look back on at the end of the year (we do a recap video at our Christmas party) and can be used for your companies social media accounts to boost your culture appeal.
